Students who qualify for a free lunch will have their academic fees waived. School fines are not eligible to be reduced or waived.

11.0 ADDITIONAL PERSONNEL ITEMS
11.1 RESOLUTION TO SUSPEND CERTIFICATED STAFF CONTRACTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH APPLICABLE REDUCTION IN FORCE PROVISIONS OF THE COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT - WHEREAS, the Board of Education of the Wapakoneta City School District (the “Board”) has received a recommendation from the Superintendent of a reduction in force in the certificated staff as a result of financial reasons; and WHEREAS, the Board has determined that a reduction in force of the certificated staff is necessary as a result of financial reasons in accordance with the provisions of Article 7 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Wapakoneta Education Association (the “Association”) and the Board. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Education of the Wapakoneta City School District as follows: SECTION I The employment contract of Joyce Salsbury, who is assigned to the position of ACT instructor, shall be suspended indefinitely effective June 23, 2020, because of financial reasons in accordance with Article 7 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. SECTION II The Treasurer shall provide notice of this contract suspension to the above named employee as soon as possible and said notice shall include notice that the employee shall be placed on the recall list in accordance with Article 7 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. SECTION III IT IS FOUND AND DETERMINED that all formal action of this Board concerning or related to the adoption of this Resolution was adopted in an open meeting of this Board, and all deliberations of this Board and any of its committees that resulted in such formal actions were adopted in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all applicable requirements of the Ohio Revised Code.
